We are so happy with the tremendous response that we\'ve gotten from <a href="http://www.toss.webatu.com/newsletter/Issue%202%20November%202009.pdf" target="_blank">our newsletter</a> and just getting the word out about our organization.. We try to help as much as we can.<br />\r\n <br />\r\nWe are starting the December newsletter and very much want to hear from you all. We want this to be a "family" newsletter. Not just our family. We consider everyone in the Sarc world a member of our extended family. So please, send us pictures, stories, recipes, jokes, etc. Also, let us know if there are items for upcoming events that you would like us to spread the word about.<br />\r\n <br />\r\n <br />\r\nI\'m also happy to announce that we have expanded our board to now include a "Sarc Mom Support" coordinator. Ann Ward is the mother of Claire, who has sarc and has graciously accepted our offer to head up a group for moms of sarkies. I know how difficult this disease is for me to have. I know that my mom and family often feel a sense of loss and defeat because they can\'t fix me. I thought that it would be a good idea for the moms of us sarkies to get together and be of a support to each other. If you are interested in contacting Ann, please let me know. We are also on FaceBook under TOSS. We now have 174 members there!<br />\r\n <br />\r\nIt isn\'t too late to get me your address if you are interested in our First Annual Christmas Card exchange. I know that the holidays are difficult for me so I can imagine that they would be for others as well. I thought this would be a great was of spreading the holiday spirit Sarc Style! I\'ve also invited other groups to join us. I want to get the list complied and emailed out next weekend, so if you\'re interested, please let me know. If you would like to join but feel that you can\'t afford the card or postage, PLEASE don\'t let that stop you! We want to include you as well.<br />\r\n <br />\r\nI guess that\'s about it on the TOSS front. So start thinking about things you want to include in the newsletter.
